MALONE, NY – With Opening day already been announced, opponents have been officially lined up.

The Border Hounds will take the field for the first time ever as an Empire League franchise on June 9th and will take on the Saranac Lake Surge at home in Malone, New York.

Game time is set to 4:00pm Eastern Time and as a reminder, all times is subject to change.

Tickets will be available at the stadium gate and gates will open two hours prior to the game. The Border Hounds will be taking batting practice on the field from 5pm to 6pm for fans in attendance.

Photos, autographs and player interaction will be available after batting practice.

The Malone Border hounds will make history in Malone on June 9th, 2023 as the inaugural game will take place in Malone versus the Saranac Lake Surge.

MALONE, NY – The Empire League has revealed the new logo for the Malone Border Hounds new franchise of the Empire Baseball League.

MALONE, NY – The Empire Baseball League has revealed the team name for the Malone Baseball Club to be the Border Hounds.

The team colors will be powder blue, sunshine gold and white.

After many discussions and meetings regarding the name of the Empire Baseball League club coming to Malone, NY, a name has been decided. League member wanted the name to engage the local board members and the community on the name. With over 50 names on the list, the one that stood out the most to all has been voted by all members.

The Logo has not get been revealed and will be announced on the teams social medias soon.

A stadium is in the process of being built and the Empire League and its surrounding cities are extremely excited for the Border Hounds to play in Malone.
